HEBRIDES

Home for me since November  2002 has been the Isle of Lewis. The most northerly part of the archipelago of Hebridean islands off the North West coast of Scotland.

Beautiful beaches, wild north Atlantic seas, miles and miles of moor/peatland, relatively few trees and generally rugged landscape, this is a place of extremes.

Summer days are endless thanks to the neverending twilight and winter days are short with long dark nights, glorious dark skies and the chance of a glimpse of Aurora.
